Talk about a heck of a deal for 78$ a month you can take the whole house hold to this place they have a lap pool with scheduled time for family swim. They have a jacuzzi and a sauna they also have a basketball court and a track on the second and third floor as well as a great selection of equipment running and weights and also free weights. Very pleased with there clean protocal.

Awesome gym. Friendly people who go here and the people at the desk are cool too. The gym is also really good and has a couple of squat racks and a deadlift platform. Prices are good and overall I'd definitely recommend this to someone looking for an affordable place to work out.

Good place to work out and to bring your family for a family swim. It ha fully equipped weight room and a nice dry sauna to relax muscles after working out.

I love this place! I feel so comfortable using the facilities, talking with the staff, and parking is extremely convenient. My only negative about the place is that they don't have handicap accessible doors, but not enough to lose a star.

I love this YMCA! The life guards especially the pool area and how FANTASTIC all the life guards are! They do such a great job!! They treat everyone great and fairly! I love the rules this YMCA has to look after the safety of everyone! Don’t listen to any of the 1 star reviews about this location! Love the friendly staff!! MY mental is great knowing everyone is looked after and safe while I’m swimming and other people are swimming!

Very nice if a little retro gym facility that was convenient for us as we were staying in the Lancaster arts hotel across the street. It was raining so we couldn’t really do outdoor runs like we might and this gym provided everything we needed. The equipment was retro for sure but that really doesn’t matter a weight is a weight. Desk staff kind and friendly.

It was a nice workout. I enjoy the bicycles and the treadmills and see track up on the third floor at this point that's all I have used but I appreciate it all them different types of ways to exercise at the YMCA.

This is a remarkable gem in historic Lancaster. Traveling to be with family I emailed in advanced and learned from Jenn that this Y has day passes. Terrific! Only $10.00 (March 2025) and the facility is top notch with super nice employees too. The members were diverse in age, size, ethnicity and ability and all were welcomed. Filled with Precor equipment- stationary bikes (both recumbent and upright), weight machines, treadmills, stair masters - weight machines, a basketball court and a pool which had an ambient temperature of 80degrees the day I was there. Lots of lanes for swimming and I was there after lunch and there were lanes open, and easily accommodated my slow pace. The hot tub and sauna was delightful too. This really is a treasure that this visitor to Lancaster is most grateful to have discovered. Thank you!

The City Center YMCA is one of the best fitness facilities in Lancaster, PA. I appreciate that they open at 5 AM on weekdays, which makes it easy to get a workout in before the day starts. They offer plenty of cardio options, including treadmills, ellipticals, stair-steppers, and stationary bikes. The strength-training area is solid as well, with free weights and Smith machines available. Their indoor lap pool is excellent for both exercise and casual swimming, and I’ve often enjoyed using the sauna before cooling off with a swim. They also have a full-size basketball court with four side courts and offer youth recreational leagues like the Jr. NBA. The indoor track is another great feature for both walkers and runners. The staff at the CCY are friendly, polite and courteous, their always willing to lift a helping hand. A day pass is reasonably priced at $10 for non-members.
